Handmade Carved Vase yarn vasesThe Carved vases are thrown on the potters wheel using a high fired grey stoneware clay with chamotte, which gives each piece strength, texture, and a subtle speckled character. Each form is carefully shaped and then hand carved with an organic, flowing pattern. The vases are finished with a soft matte satin white glaze that contrasts beautifully with the raw stoneware, creating a refined and tactile expression Made by me at my studio in Lucerne.
