18th Century Portrait Of A Country Girl SilverA portrait of a country girl, c. 1780. Oil on board. The sitter is wearing a blue dress with white lace trim and is clasping flowers. The work is beautifully done, most notably the capturing of the sitter's expression. The work is housed in a later gilt glazed oval frame.
