Watchet Bead Europe

Watchet Bead EuropeInspired by the quaint harbour town of Watchet in Somerset. We wanted to capture the colours and patterns rocks on the beach as the tide drops out. The core is made with a mixture of dark grey, light grey and green glass which is swirled together to create an organic pattern within the glass. The mixed core is then rolled over a spikey brass tool to create little holes in the molten glass. When this is encased with clear glass little air bubbles form

The Mammoth ski area runs along the east side of the Sierra Nevada mountain range founded by Dave McCoy in 1953
