The Isolation Ridge Vineyard is managed under organic certification (ACO certified organic since 2009)

On the nose

The vineyard was planted in 1976 on an ancient seabed

and spice flavours

with smaller quantities of Freisa

with a portion of new oak

Made from 100% Pinot Noir fruit left of yeast lees and disgorged in January 2023 for release

they are put through the destemmer and crusher and they are fermented for a week

The oak is noticeable but well-integrated

she's done vintages around the globe

with slow ripening giving the grapes lots of flavour and intensity
